Wearing Daddy's shoes

Malakai has started assisting us with supper preparations. If the lock is not on the fridge he goes ahead and helps himself to getting out alot of condiments and lining them up on the table. We don't really care, except for the glass bottles. Hopefully he continues to help as he gets older:)

We had a neighborhood Night Out a couple of weeks ago. A fire truck drove through the area throwing candy out to the kids who followed along side it. Malakai was happy to view the truck from a safe distance.

A Korean festival was taking place close to our house so we decided to check it out. They gave away free samples of food which was a complete meal and so yummy. Malakai liked the noodles and rice cakes the best.

That same weekend was a greek festival in the Montrose area of town. They had delicious food, traditional Greek dancing and a store full of Greek goods. The honeyballs were sooooo good. I would go back just for those!
