Malakai joined us on Wednesday morning, September 12 at 5:16AM after an anxious night of anticipation. Weighing in at 8 lbs, 20 inches long, and a 14 inch head, he was well on his way to being a big boy already.
He's doing great feeding, and his diaper changes testify to his intestinal wellness as well. Each night he's been having at least one long period of sleep usually around 3 1/2 hours, but we're noticing that he loves to sleep with us in bed.
Today we had a home-visit from a Goshen Hospital nurse, and she was impressed with our little baby boy. He has already nearly back to his birth weight! Weighing in at 7 lbs, 13 oz.
