We took a trip up Interstate 45 to hike around Huntsville state park. We ended up not being the only ones there with 500 runners in a 50k trail race. It was nice to get out of the city and spend time in nature. The kids really enjoyed running around and exploring the area. After the park, we ate at a yummy cafe in Huntsville and then stopped at the gigantic statue of Sam Houston.
