We took a trip to Galveston last week when the weather was nice and mild. First stop was the water and beach. Malakai wasn't so sure about the walking in the water but warmed up to it and loved kicking his feet in the waves. Marty and Malakai threw the ball back and forth for a long time. The waves helped return the ball to Marty:) Next stop was a delicious seafood spot, Gaidos, for some gulf shrimp. We have really enjoyed riding the ferry to Bolivar Peninsula and back. Malakai liked to point out all of the passing boats and watch the cars go on and off the ferry. Our last stop was the Strand for some Blue Bell ice cream. Sadly Marty was not able to partake of the goodness due to his giving up sweets for lent. We look forward to heading back to the beach so that we can swim in the water, or as Malakai would say "Later".
