Thanksgiving In Fredricksburg

This week we took a much needed trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We drove 4 hours to Fredricksburg, a little German town in the beautiful hill country. On our way we stopped in Austin for lunch and drove around the city for a little bit. It looked like a unique place to live. We then drove on to our destination but our bottoms needed a break so we stopped at a living farm in the LBJ State Park. Malakai loved all of the animals roaming around and was not as ready to leave as his parents were. We were able to watch curds being made, which was interesting. The Guest House that we stayed at was really nice. They had camels, emus, deer, sheep roaming around the front part of the property. Thursday morning we hiked upEnchanted Rock, which was a little more of a straight incline up then we thought. Malakai did great though!
