Dr. Visit

Today, we took Malakai to his new pediatrician for the first time. We didn't know much about her other than she worked in the same practice as a Dr. our friends/landlords went to and she is from Kansas. Anyways, she walks in the room says,"Hi I'm Dr.____, man he has a big head. But it doesn't seem to bother his balance." What????? Hello Dr, nice to meet you to. Thank you for building up my son's self-confidence:) Marty and I didn't say anything about this but when we left Marty asked me if she really said that. Is that even possible? That a toddler's head be so large it affect balance?
She turned out to be a good Dr.

He does have a big head, 90th %. I took him to a hat store called Lids and he was trying on some Houston Texans hats. But "toddler" hats for his age didn't come close to fitting him! He needed to wear the "youth" hat. But looked good doing it.
His weight is 22 lbs, 4oz (10%-25%).
Height is 32 inches (75%-50%).

Wow! That's a bit of a surprise to hear from a doctor! You'd expect a bit more of a polite bedside manner. Anyway, I've seen kai's head, I don't think he has a big head. - Tim

We've had the opposite with head size, our doctor would alway comment on Jotham's tiny head, he's barely in the 3rd percentile. I'm Tim's sister by the way, we met when we visited them at AMBS. Jotham wanted to watch some video's so after watching Myra we came here to see if there were any. Jotham loved the one with the hammer toy, we watched it at least 5 times.
