Yesterday, we drove out southeast to Galveston for Malakai to have his first experience with the beach and The Gulf. Once we got him to look out at the water he kind of said, "Wow," and got really excited. He played in the sand, knocked down his dad's sand towers and walked back and forth to the water. His mom got pretty wet when she was worried about him getting to close to the water and not paying attention to the tide coming in. She survived supper in wet socks and shoes. We will definitely be going back when it is a little warmer to play.

Nice! Looks like you had lots of fun! Standing in sand on the beach, even if you get a little wet, seems much nicer than standing in the cold and blowing snow we have here. - Tim
